Long Vowels 

Long vowels    letters also play a rola as weak consonants,  one of their  function is to slightly lengthened the corresponding  short vowels      

 

LETTER ALIF 

If letter Alif  (without sukun(,jazm) sign) comes immediately after a consonant with a Fathah (zaber) then the short vowels is slightly lengthen   Exception rules - 

    VS.     

 

LETTER WAW 

If letter waw  (with sukun, (jazm) sign) comes immediately after a consonant with a Damma  (Pesh) then the short vowels is slightly lengthen  Let's see slight  difference between two sounds.   

                 VS.      

 

LETTER YA

If letter Ya (with sukun or  jazm sign) comes immediately after a consonant with a  Kasra  (zer) then the short vowels is slightly lengthen  Let's see slight  difference between two sounds.
